Remembering our pasts, protecting their futures. ALWAYS Well hello and welcome to the strange new world that is 2020 I'm still here, I'm still doing crazy things, and challenging myself to be the best I can be My BIG BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE (Ssh! don't tell anyone but i'm 60 in October) this year was meant to be Everest Base Camp, however with the world currently under siege from a nasty little virus named Covid-19 I'm assuming my trip will be delayed till 2021, however, that doesn't mean I can be a lady of leisure, training must go on, so I'm currently taking part in the 2.6 challenge where I have set myself the goal of completing 260KM over 26 days starting on the 26th April. I'm also taking part in several other virtual challenges as the year goes on, all to keep me mentally and physically well. At this time I am very aware that there are many children out there without their usual escape routes, and with families living in lockdown Childline has seen an unprecedented rise in call for help and advice from troubled youngsters, so all my fundraising at present is helping support this service. I really hope you will continue to support me, I will keep you updated on my Everest trip, but in the meantime I hope you all keep safe and well and remember that ALL children deserve to be happy and safe.
